    hiking trip: how to eat healthy and lose weight?

    im going on a hiking trip for a week in new mexico! i have been strugling with my weight for a long time and i really want to lose this weight!!! i realize that if i eat healthy while on the trip i while lose weight… but how to stay motivated and not start eating junk food and all those greasy specialties im going to want to try???
    please very helpful advice needed!!!

      Take lots of dried fruits and grains. If you crave something sweet, go for dried apricots, raisins, etc. You can also snack on dry cereals like Special K, granola, Kashi, etc. Nuts and beans are a good source of protein and energy. If you're going to cook meat, eat skinless chicken breast or lean ham. Don't forget to drink plenty of water.
