I live in franklin, and I love the outdoors. I want to go hiking or biking or something, where exactly can I go to do that?

Percy Warner Park
They have a hiking trail that is moderate and 4.5 miles and then an easy trail on the Old Hickory Blvd. side of the park that is 1 mile.
The place is gorgeous, nothing more need be said.
This is miles of miles of unadulterated trail for bikers, hikers, horse back, etc.
the "red trail". It's a 4.5 mile (approximately) trail through the woods,
there is a great waterfall about a mile in (if you start from the Deep Wells)
For me the best time to go is in the spring when everything is blooming and it's not sweltering outside, or in the fall when the trees are changing color.
Natchez Trace Parkway
Natchez Trace is a beautiful winding road that passes through some of the most breathtaking landscapes Tennessee has to offer.
The Garrison Creek Loop Trail is a moderately difficult trail that covers about 6 miles. The trail is pretty and it is nice to get some shade from the trees as you walk the 6 miles.
Radnor Lake State Park
Radnor Lake has always been the place where locals go for peace and quiet hiking. It is easy walking and a boost for anyone's spirit.
