do you think anyone has slept there since chris’s death?
October 27th, 2008 at 8:10 pm
I’m sure someone has, though I don’t know why anyone would want to sleep in the actual bus. It was pretty creepy.
October 27th, 2008 at 8:10 pm
No, we went in May of this year.
October 28th, 2008 at 8:57 pm
the creepiness is weird to put a finger on isnt it. maybe its because the bus is just about as he left it? so its like intruding. I’m rather morbid sometimes and I would sleep there to experience what he did, though if it was felt that it was desecration of chris’s sort of mermorial, then i wouldnt.

The video quality is kind of crappy, but if you look you can see the tarp over the bed. I suspect they corner or sheriff were the ones to cut out the cloth section which probably was stained but nonetheless, we didn’t move that tarp & I don’t think it even crossed our minds. I know death is death & not to diminish it’s finality but it’s not very spiritual to me, I regard it as more scientific. Even so, I couldn’t bring myself to sleep inside. Even this agnostic felt something there.

Great video, I’ve had a recent fascination with this whole saga. Got into it a bit late, hadn’t even heard of it till the movie, which led to the book…

Well we all die alone sometime , I dont think it would rile him having people come out to where he died if you can get something out of the experience or the way he lived .

Wow so you went to the bus and refrained from stealing like some other prick on youtube did? Will wonders never cease?

Amazing.. thanks for not taking anything guys. I recently saw the movie and the story really moved me. I live in Sweden so a trip to the bus is almost impossible for me, grats on your journey thou

WOW…..to see it for real must be one hell of a adventure. You guys are lucky. I read the book and saw the film recently. One of the best things I ever picked up at a bookstore lol.

As Chris would probably have said “If you want something in life, reach out and grab it.”. It’s not impossible my friend
Great video guys, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how you treat the bush with respect. Two thumbs up and 5 stars. Good job!

idk if someone has already pointed this out but the quote “Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying” is also the big quote from Shawshank Redemption.
