    Will a shihtzu stop hiking his leg on everything in my home if he is neutured?

    Patch just turned a year old, for the most part he is potty trained. He will go outside do his business and come in and hike his leg on whatever he wants and just spray a little. Someone told me he is marking his territory. Someone also told me that if I get him neutured he will stop this, just wandering if this is true? any suggestion would be wonderful.

      he may be marking his territory or you may not be giving him enough time outside. every time he does it you need to shout at him and put him out again, yes, neutering will stop territorial marking.
