Know where the hiking trails are in Germany?
By HikingOn | April 29, 2009
I'm living in Bad Nauheim. I am looking for hiking trails around here, not an extremely difficult one because I have a 6 year old. We are experienced day hikers. And I don't speak any German (I'm trying to learn so cut me some slack on that part) so I haven't been able to translate the websites I have enough to figure out exactly where to go to hit any of the trails.
I am in Hesse, almost exactly between Geissen and Hanau.

The Bad Nauheim city has a hike every Sunday at 2 (from April-October only, though) Contact info: briefkasten@bad-nauheim-info.de
Yuu could climb the Johannisberg mountain as well. I would start with the tourist office in Bad Nauheim. They should speak English and be able to at least provide you with good maps of the area.
