Angels Landing – A Hike Through Zion National Park
By HikingOn | April 15, 2009
“Walking With Angels” Angels Landing – Zion National Park, Utah On August 3, 2007 – myself, Jonathan Paula, and close friend Ezra Horne embarked on a trek straight up the side of one of Utah’s most beautiful mountains – Angels Landing. Located in pristine Zion National Park near the south-western corner of Utah. We filmed this entire video ourselves using a small tripod often doubling back to get the necessary shots. (Yes, I did indeed climb up Walter’s Wiggle twice) Some more info: en …

Good stuff! I hiked Angel’s Landing in 2006. This brought back great memories! Nice shooting and editing too, a good subject can be ruined by incompetent video work, but you did an excellent job. Thanks for posting!

hairyupsguy – Thanks for watching! And yeh, I do this (video editing) for a living now, so I’d like to think I’m pretty good at it.

bfishin969 – are you sure you mean, “Not Funny”? Because I find that scene particularly humorous. Just because we were joking about doesn’t mean we were/are careless hikers.
I’m an Eagle Scout, in fact.

The wife and I were there in 04. We can’t wait to get back after seeing your video. Great video and thanks for sharing. 5*

Great video!!! I did this hike back in 1982 when I was stationed at Nellis AFB outside Las Vegas. I still have some pics from that trip, but seeing it here really brought back the memories.

I’ve done angel’s landing. There’s certainly some crazy spots. 3 foot wide sandstone rock trail with 800ft or so dropoffs on either side. Really beautiful out there though. One of my favorite national parks if not number 1.

I went to Zion last summer, and I have to say, it was probably one of the best experiences I have ever had. I loved hiking Angel’s Landing, and it made me really sad when we had to start climbing back down. It’s so nice up at the top. Great video man!

I went to Zion back in 2000. For me, it was one of the most beautiful national parks of the US. (Ofcourse, i haven’t seen all of them, so i could be wrong
)
When we arrived at our parkingspot, there were a couple of deer walking around, some of which even ate out of my hand. I just loved the park, shot a couple of great pictures there.
Great video!
