Cascades Water Fall Hiking Swimming

This is a sweet 2 mile (one way) nature walk along Little Stoney Creek. Site located in Pembroke, Giles County…. about 20 miles from Blacksburg.

That’s where im from- Pearisburg. Played in that creek lots. Watch out for the cotton mouths!

talk about man made, i would rather hike for four hours and find an awesome secluded place!

Thats the great thing about free will, take a long hike in virgin woods if you wish. The mountain, trees, rocks, falls or creek are not man made only the accommodation’s to get visitors to and from. 20 years ago 75% of the man made stuff was not there. Regardless its still a great place with or without these additions. I don’ need them, but I think the idea is to enable a wider age group of visitors to see things more safely.

Thats where I am from, grew up fishing that creek and still live there to beautiful to leave.
