The use of the D-Beat is not only limited to punk/hardcore punk.
100% of the speed metal bands use the same beat.
I doubt if Fenriz cares about the labeling of the stuff they play today.
As he said: ” Call it black metal or evil rock, I don’t care”.
The closest shit that sounds similar is Motorhead.
They have STRONG punk and speed metal influences, but it’s still on the METAL side. To the bone.
