Going to Winter Park, CO to snowboard, any suggestions on places to go for equipment and lift tickets?

I'm going to Winter Park, Colorado to snowboard, any suggestions on special places to go for equipment rental and lift tickets?
Also, are there any things (beside snowboard) that I "MUST DO" while I'm in Winter Park?
Thoughts on great fishing spots, hiking, biking, shopping, and site seeing is really appreciated.

Well, I think with all the snow the mountains have been getting, hiking and probably biking are out. You might want to try snowshoeing as a nice alternative – kind of winter hiking of sorts. You can usually rent snowshoes at the same places you rent your snowboard equipment.
As far as rental equipment. I don't really have any suggestions – I'm sure there are places right there at the base of the mountain, which might be the easiest. If you are driving up from the Denver area you can try King Soopers (grocery stores) to see if they are selling Winter Park lift tickets for a discounted price.
Have fun!
